Our First Trip with Tommy, will not be our Last!

This was our First Trip with Tommy and Jane... You can bet it will not be our last!

From the time we started planning our adventure, until the moment we said goodbye, Tommy made sure all we had to worry about was how much fun could we handle!

Tommy's knowledge of Greece (past and present) made this trip even more special. What could be better? Only that the people that Tommy had... they were the friendliest and happy people coming together as new friends... for life!

The cruise was fantastic. Our knowledgeable and skilled captain saw to it that itineraries were interesting, full of cultural zest, and teeming with Mediterranean water! Add to all this, the Chef, Anastasia. Clearly easy to see why she was an achiever from "Master Chef" competitions.

I'm a Chef and instructor... I'm tough to please... I knew this was going to be good, but it exceeded my expectations. Being in charge of Aortic Diets, this was a delightful assemblage of healthy and flavorful meals. 

I would have been very happy to have had more advance information on the island itinerary or even books onboard about the islands we visited. Even with Wifi onboard our vessel... I love to research more than Google resources. 

I can say we loved it so much that we have already referred our good friends to travel with Tommy and Jane.

In a single word, "SPECTACULAR"

This trip was Meticulously planned! Flawlessly executed and with attention to every detail Tommy made certain that Everyone had a Great-Great Time.
I loved the Food - period.

We dined at gourmet restaurants every single nite. Everything was affordable and well within budget. I tried to exceed the wine limitations... there simply were no limits. From cute little seaside cafe's to gourmet restaurants on the rooftop of the Monastiriki with a personal view of the Acropolis at night.... well, it was special. 

Tommy seems to know everybody in the service and food business. As such, the outcome was astonishing in every case. I wouldn't change one thing from my trip. It was all impeccable. I had the flexibility to dine with the group on rooftops together and to break loose with my special love to have the private moments that you can't have in a group! Perfect.

I would travel anywhree in the world with Nicholas. If you want a 5 Star trip at an affordable price with expertly curated guides, comfort and safety in mind... then, Nicholas and Jane are your Go-To Team. A real pleasure to be around

Fascinating, Fun and Delicious!

 My trip was fascinating, fun and so delicious! I thought for me it was going to be about the history of this ancient civilization and of course the amazing beauty of the islands. For sure, all of that was delivered. Yet, I was not prepared for how much I would fall in love with the amazing freash and unforgettabe delicious foods. After traveling to several countries, I have to say Greece has some of the best food the world has to offer. I'm glad Nicholas knows the best spots!

I was disappointed to see the graffiti on 90% of Athens buildings. I was a real eye-sore. Apparently, it is very meaningful and symbolic to the locals, representing their right to protest a general dislike of the current political climate in the country. The other thing that was apparent was the enormous presence of homeless regugees from disparate nations. That said, I felt completely safe with Nicholas and my travel friends in our group.

No question about it - if you have a desire to visit Greece choose to do so with someone charismatic, carring and very experienced. This tour should not be missed!

Even Longer Trip & More Islands!

Our trip was wonderful and memorable!! Tommy and Jane are  amazing hosts. Their intimate knowledge of Greece is so important and helpful. I would not have been able to just "wing" a trip to Greece.

We went Catamaran Sailing and Toured the mainland. The guides Tommy provided at the Acropolis and the World Heritage Site of Meteora were world class. Our boat and personal suite were so perfect. Both Spiros, the captain and our personal Chef, Anastacia were Masters. The onboard meals were family style, colorful, tasty and so delicious.

The swimstops everyday on the vessel were fantastic fun. The water was so colorful and warm in October. Who would have thought that a stop would be an island of peacocks and deer? Magnificent. I would also recommend that if you are a couple, consider bringing another couple that you know to share this time with. It was always fun to go out for dinner with Tommy to his special places - my husband and I also enjoyed personal times dining together away from the group. So much flexibility existed on this trip.

I hope to one day perfect those crazy-delicious fried zucchinis. I will most certainly recommend this Greece trip with Tommy to any friend or colleague. Further, I'd love to take an even longer voyage and see more far away spots like Paros, Naxos, Santorini and Crete... I've got something to look forward to.

Hyperbole or Reality!

Nicholas Tours curates an exceptional experience. Concierge service! It begins upon your arrival into the Athens Airport. 

On our trip in October 2023 we travelled with a group of lovely people on a private catamaran for a week of discovery among the Greek Islands. In addition to several remarkable sights of Unesco World Heritage reputation, Nicholas' wife, Jane Angelica stepped in to assist in many of the tour highlights. Her command of the Greek language was both an asset and surprise.

Our personal Chef, Anastacia Ntu made gourmet plates that were not only beautiful to view but tantalizing to eat. She was accompanied by our Captain, Spiro. He was a friendly and highly capable captain that brought safety and talent into a smooth combination.

All manner of water activities were enjoyed... swimming, SUP boarding, exploring, and sun bathing were just a simple start to joyous times. Costs were minimal to the value of all the entertainment provided.  I'm often known for hyperbole... I promise this review is sincere.

Thank you for sharing your love, knowledge & enthusiasm for this beautiful country. 

My favorites were the Acropolis Museum & Hill. The ruins of the Mycenean civilization. The Cruise to the islands. Our Private Yacht! 

My favorite hotel was the Villa in Santorini! We truly appreciate all you did to make this trip special in every way. I can't wait to see you in Ecuador, Spain or Africa next!

I Ate Olives & Feta - and liked it!

To an old friend and our newest friend. Ana and I were excited to get an invite to join your private trip and travel with 'our' friends all while visiting your new homeland. 

Your generosity was over the top. Breaking bread with you and Tom-Tom was a gas! I even ate some Olives and Feta cheese, something I have avoided for the past 72 years! You also indulged me with my ice cream cravings... Bufalo Gelato, Yikes!

On a more serious note, I never realized Greece was that rich in culture. Everywhere we went I learned SO much. Our Phd. tour guides Maria and Maritza were able to make history come alive. Ana and I know the Tom-Tom and you went out of your way to insure we would have an experience of a lifetime. 

You defintiely exceeded all expectations. We love you and hope our friendship grows.

Treated Like Family.

Anyone can book a flight, reach a destination and take in what is there.

This experience was different, richer and deeper. The thoughtfulness, the caring, the warmth, the sharing, the joy of being treated and embraced like family provided something that no other trip to a foreign land can match.

Loss for Words: And I'm a writer!

I'm honored to be the first to write in your book!
It's hard to know where to start. I had so many "am I really here?" Pinch myself moments.

Favorite things: The food, of course, especially the "Nonni Restaurant" in Drepano and Maria's mother's bounty at Champions... the restaurant at the Little Marina. I do not have the words (and I'm a writer!) to describe my feelings about visiting the Acropolis. I'm tearing up again, just thinking about it. Overwhelmed.

The quiet days and blue water at Asini Beach were so very special. I have the pictures I took at Sunrise to bring me back there. I can go on, but I'd like the MOST IMPORTANT THING  to be my close: The company of Jane and Tommy elevated everything to the next level. I can never, ever thank you enough for the experience of a lifetime. (Crap, I'm tearing up again!) I LOVE YOU.

Like the Back of His Hand...

I am not a seasoned vacation goer and as such, the planning that a two week vacation takes is beyond my capabilities. Tom and Jane made this a seamless carefree experience that met and exceeded all of our expectations.

Island hopping on a 52' Private Catamaran... was a fabulous experience that was highlighted with a Great Captain and First Mate! Anastacia put together world class meals (BTW a finalist in Master Chef).

Tommy knows Greece like the back of his hand as opposed to me not knowing it from my elbow. Ramona and I were never at a loss for something to do... or a new place to explore. Greece is an amazing country that I know a whole lot more about than I ever did before.

It's true... in Europe, the people work to live instead of living to work!

FABULOUS!!!

Dream Come True!

Thank you both again for putting together such an amazing trip! What a wonderful week this was. We started out a bit 'chilly' and 'bumpy' - but that quickly turned into warm and exciting fun!

Things that I will remember most about this trip include all the wonderful meals shared with friends, walking through archeological sites, wonderous beautiful walks on Hydra & Nafplio, swimming and paddle boarding in the Mediterranean Sea and of course amazing guests to find the best gelato!

I'm so blessed to be able to share these adventures with you and I look forward to exploring more of the world with you both. Thanks for making this dream come true.

Another Great Experience with Tommy

Another year... another great experience with Tommy! I cannot fathom the amount of Stress, Planning, and Dedication it takes to make all these trips so wonderful :-) 

I am so very thankful for all you do and including me in these trips. Janie - you are a saint. Tommy, you are feisty and fun. You are both inspiring to me. Hopefully, I can gather friends and family together one day and travel around the world with you.

Tommy, your food selections always amaze. The amount of knowledge and energy you bring is boggling. Love you both and I pray for continued success in the years to come (hopefully many).

Delicious Foods & Ancient Sites!

Tommy and Jane looked after us heartfully, with delicious local authentic Greek Cuisine and visits to Ancient Sites that were curated by Phd. Associate Guides.

We made new friends, swam, and laughed a lot... A great group to share a week onboard our private 52' Catamaran to it's full capability.

Life of Travel Still Holds Treasures!

What a lovely experience. Many thank you's to Jane and Tommy!
Super itinerary with the perfect amount of flexibility to go with the flow, but still felt structured enough to know that we had a smooth structured plan!

A plan of which was so enjoyable! Love the variety of islands. Our 52' Catamaran with private quarters had our kind of style in mind. The swimming spots, Tommy's amazing selection of 'family style' meals, having a "Master Chef" on board the vessel and meeting new friends...

Loved Seeing the Acropolis!

Thank you for such a beautiful trip.
I so enjoyed seeing the Acropolis at Night & Day. Also, we loved the Three Island tour.

It was so great the Janie 'broke the tie' and we went on the Catamaran despite the big winds that day. K.S. and I had the greatest day ever. As an aside, I would opt for less time in Athens and more time at the Seaside Resort. We loved walking to the small villages and could have done that this entire trip.

It was always the best to walk in our small group, like in Mycenea - chatting, taking fun photos, and laughing the day away. Add to that - we loved that Tommy would order great dinners for us at the various home restaurants. 

We made new friends and great memories.

Loved the Itinerary

Great Trip! Loved the itinerary. The stops and activities. The food of Greece is so good.
This was something I didn't know before going. I have been to Greece before, but prior trips to Greece did NOT make these discoveries. 

New Experiences happened every day. My favorite part of this trip was the Catamaran Tour out in the beautiful blue Aegean Sea. I truly appreciate the planning that went into arranging this trip. 

Also, the Seaside Resort would have been great for the Entire Trip! I loved it... More time here and less in Athens would be my vote! Also, departing earlier in the mornings would be a preference for me.

All in all... it was a GREAT Trip and I would travel again with Tommy & Janie.

Trip of a Lifetime!

This was the trip of a lifetime for us! I really don't know how you could have improved the tour.
There is so much history in this beautiful country & I appreciate all the places you took me to.

I love Santorini! It was probably my favorite place to go. I also appreciate "Tommy" ordering the food for us. It was difficult for us - eating so very late every night, but now realize it's the "Greek Culture". 

To say my favorite - it was definitely the Catamaran Sunset & Dinner Cruise. Gorgeous!

Paul's favorite was visiting the ruins... Mars Hill and Corinth. 
We also loved meeting the other people in our small group! It's a fabulous tour! 

Can't wait to see you again in Ecuador.
